The Sahara desert, which the Tuareg people live in, is roughly 700m above sea level. The Sahara desert receives nearly no rainfall (less than 2cm) making it an arid desert. For those that don’t know it is not a desert that has snow. The Sahara desert is so hot that average temperature is over 30 degrees Celsius.
Animals in the Sahara desert
The animals that can be found in the Sahara desert are the Dorcus Gazelle, the Addax antelope, camels, dung beetles, horned vipers, lizards, death stalker scorpions and the ostrich all bare the hottest desert in the world including the Tuareg people.
